The Parents’ Association is seeking volunteers for the following Executive Board and Chair openings for the 2017-2018 academic year. If you are interested in a position please contact Susan Ayres at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Treasurer: It shall be the duty of the Treasurer to keep an accurate record of all funds received and disbursed by the Association, to work closely with the Faculty Liaison to manage funds, and to report at each regular meeting on the financial status of the Association. It will be necessary to attend the Executive Board meetings.
Treasurer-Elect: It shall be the duty of Treasurer-Elect to perform all duties assigned to the Treasurer in absence of the Treasurer or in the event of her inability to serve. During their term of office, the Treasurer-Elect shall familiarize themselves with the continuing program of the Association. In order to achieve this task, it will be necessary to attend the Executive Board meetings.
Vice President – President-Elect (Executive Board). The president-elect will assist the President in the administration of the Parent Association and will perform the duties of the President in the President’s absence or inability to serve. The President-Elect duties will also include assisting the Director of Parent Volunteers with planning and coordination of Freshman Welcome Night.
