Summertime Is the Time for Art!

Summer is an excellent time for students to balance the hard academic work of the St. Mary’s school year with experiences in the arts. Students can focus on work to build their portfolios or just have fun.

PNCA’s Pre-College Studios is an intensive program for 14-18 year olds. It runs from July 11 to August 3, and is hosted at PNCA’s main campus, 511 N.W. Broadway, in the Pearl District. It offers the choice of a single week immersion up to the full, four-week program. Each week the students can choose from a changing menu of studio courses that includes Comics & Illustration, Design & Print Making, and Drawing and Painting. www.precollege@pnca.edu

OCAC’s Pre-College weekly workshops include a wide array of fine art and craft media. The classes are designed to develop a studio practice and build a portfolio.  8245 S.W. Barnes Road.  https://cms.ocac.edu/pre_college/
