Scholastic Art Awards
The Scholastic Art Awards are a nationally recognized organization that rewards the achievements of students in grades 7–12. The Awards—the longest-running, largest and most prestigious student art recognition program in America—was established 93 years ago. Visit the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards category descriptions to see guidelines for entries in many different media, along with beautiful examples of gold and silver medal recipients from the last few years. Many of the artworks have video or audio quotes from the artists. Be sure to check out the special categories like the Herblock editorial cartooning category, which is new this year.
To enter, students must print a copy of the entry form from the website and obtain signatures. Fee waiver forms must accompany each form requesting a waiver.
